Driving stoned is way too socially accepted
Say you're too drunk to drive and call an Uber and nobody thinks twice. Say the same about being stoned and people look at you like you have 3 heads.
I don't do either but I'd be way more scared to drive high thank drunk. I realize not everyone is that way but that doesn't mean it's a good thing to condone.

Agreed. I drove definitely drunk and stoned in my youth, before Ubers. Usually because I was the least drunk/stoned of a group but it was still stupid AF. I found driving stoned WAY harder.
Pro tip: if you need to wait it out and sleep in your car for a couple of hours, don't keep the engine running for heat or AC. Take the keys out of the ignition. A buddy of mine got a DUI while asleep in the back seat of his car. It was winter and he had the engine running for heat.

Come to NY, every other car on the thruway smells like weed, it wafts in through the vents. Cops do nothing, no one get pulled over, it's perfectly fine. God forbid you only have one plate though, fcuk NY.

https://www.kiro7.com/news/how-high-...ers/246320721/
The first volunteer,Addy Norton, is a 27-year-old medical marijuana patient and heavy daily marijuana userwho smoked pot before arriving at the test site.
A blood test before the experiment began showed Norton came to the track at already three times the legal limit of 5 nanograms for driving under the influence of marijuana.Norton tested at nearly 16 nanograms.
While learning the course, Norton turned too sharply at a stop sign and clipped one of KIRO’s cameras, but the instructor said her driving was actually fine.
Next, the volunteers started smoking marijuana. They were each given 3 tenths of a gram of pot to smoke, and from the light to the heavy user, KIRO asked them how they felt.
“I’m really buzzed, yeah,” said Underberg.
“Relaxed and buzzed,” said Evans.
“I can’t feel it yet,”said Norton.
While Norton was back behind the wheel for another lap, she drove a bit slower than she should have, and at one point, struck a traffic cone.
“I hit a cone. I see it in the rearview mirror, ah,” said Norton.
A blood test would later show thatNorton was driving at seven times the legal limit for pot with 36.7 nanogramsof marijuana in her system, but she was still driving OK.
“I wouldn’t pull her off the road yet. No, not at this point,”said driving instructor Jackson.
KIRO had the volunteers smoke and drive two more times until they had all smoked 9 tenths of a gram of pot -- and were feeling it.
After 9 tenths of a gramNorton was becoming much more aggressive and was excited about being high behind the wheel.
“One time in your life you get to do this, you should do it. You should do it (laughs). Yeah. That’s awesome,” said Norton.
YetNorton made no major mistakes. KIRO 7 asked the officer if he would pull her over.
“(She’s) borderline,”said Claridge.
Addy knows how to party down. LOL. She was probably 20x the legal limit before she was impaired enough to be a concern.A blood test before the experiment began showed Norton came to the track at already three times the legal limit of 5 nanograms for driving under the influence of marijuana.Norton tested at nearly 16 nanograms.

https://time.com/3706491/driving-sto...-study-safety/
Driving while stoned is not as dangerous as driving while drunk — in fact, according to a new report, it’s about as safe as driving while sober once variables are adjusted for.
While drunk driving dramatically increases the chances of getting into an accident, researchers from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found no evidence to suggest the same was true of marijuana use, the federal agency’s Roadside Survey of Alcohol and Drug Use by Drivers reveals.
Although THC — the high-inducing ingredient of marijuana — is the most common element found in car crashes after alcohol, and increases the risk of crashing by 25%, the study found that the risk was negligible after adjusting for factors like age, gender and race.

Driving on weed = you're either a ****-up or you aren't.
It's that simple.
Most morons who get into accidents stoned magically can't stay out of accidents while sober as well.
