I'm not sure you're fully considering what the term "diversity hire" means to people.
Look how diversity college admissions affected Asian Americans. You think their morale is up now that affirmative action college admissions practices were struck down by the Supreme Court and they'll get a fair shake at getting into the college of their choice based on merit? Do you think they need to do some soul searching because of that?

I'm reminded of this, starting at 2:20. I think this sort of sentiment is more common that you realize.

This is what they did, hire diverse people then......
"The hires in positions of power— don't feel adequately resourced or
supported to be able to do their best work.”
So they bounced

Complete and total horsesh!t because we may be starting to see a shift away from the DIE cult. So for any company experiencing any issues after doing something they disagree with, they’ll try to paint it as stemming from going against their narrative.

Seems like they're overusing Hollywood, an industry in complete turmoil and losing tons of money to make their point.
Also: "said Kathryn Minshew,CEO and Founder of The Muse.“It is up to employers to make all employees—but especially BIPOC employees who don’t always see themselves represented.........”
^^Ya gotta love their interviewing themselves for the article. And the 800 people they surveyed were users of their website. ahahahaha.
"We asked only people in our inner circle and they don't like it." Clowns

The under-qualified people couldn’t perform adequately, so they blamed the environment instead of their own shortcomings. Not surprising seeing as how the entire movement is pretty much founded on victim mentality.

"here the senior leadership at a company fails to live up to previous commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion by not supporting BIPOC leaders in complex positions."
not every hire is underqualified, some need good management, and we all know that most managers suck, thus the reason people hate their bosses so much.
Methodology: 803 people surveyed via themuse.com between July 21-24, 2023. Respondents were:
30% Millennials and 23% Gen Z
70% non-white and 22% Black or African American
65% female

From everything I’ve seen the minorities always get MORE support because they want to keep the quota and are scared of being labelled as racist.orrr

So, I stand by my previous theory that they hired under qualified people and now that “they aren’t living up to previous commitments to BIPOC”, as they say….which just means “they aren’t holding our hands every step of the way to help us do the job we were hired for, we’re going to leave.”
