Kind of crazy how outdated SSN is

The whole method of giving someone a number that’s suppose to be secret and primarily used as a main verification seems completely outdated. I mean honestly most peoples SSN are probably leaked on the dark web from all the security breaches these companies have.

Been trying to think of better alternatives though and it’s pretty hard tbh. Anything solely digital seems like a huge security risk. Companies should’ve never been allowed to store SSN in their chitty unsecured databases to begin with, but too late.

Agreed we need digital ID's immediately and they need to be tied to our bank accounts and we need to abolish cash and adopt CBDC's. It's the only way to be safe!!
