Was watching Vivek Ramaswamy speaking yesterday...
Just fuking lol at these politicians, ded srs.
The manipulation of the masses (in order to get votes) that they are ALL trying to do is so obvious, they can't even hide their mask anymore. Republicans say exactly what republicans wanna her, democrats say what democrats wanna hear. None of them think what they say (the only exception is probably Trumpl but he still does it to a certain degree). I wouldn't be surprised at tall if they were in fact... friends. Its all an act.
I know Vivek is not a "career politician" but he acts/talks jus like one. You just can predict his answers before he gives them because you know that is going to be the answer that appeal most to conservatives.

1. It is an act, and it should be an act. Politicians are in the business to get votes just like Denny's is in the business of trying to sell grandslams. A politician doesn't have an opinions(that he tells us).He is the corporation trying to get votes,so that forms his opinion. When the public changes is when politicians change
2. Why would Vivek want to appeal to you? I assume you are white or Asian, upper class and smart. You are less than 5 percent

I don’t find him as authentic as Trump. He’s clearly in used car salesman mode.
He is faking it BUT he’s doing a better job faking it than DeSantis.
Watching DeSantis collapse has been bizarre. From a shoo in for 2028 to near irrelevancy. That man has a horrible team around him.
Vivek seems to have a solid one.
Neither are actual MAGA but even Trump didn’t do most of what he said he would. I was hoping he would during a second term.
Neither Vivek or DeSantis will do any real reforming either. But I’ve decided if I show up on Election Day and Viveks name is there instead of Trumps I will vote for him. If there is no Trump or Vivek I won’t vote for the GOP as they need to be punished.

I dont have any answer for what would be better, but I feel like voting more to legislature and local policy would be an overall net benefit. Watching election victory speeches where people treat these lying politicians like gods (only in the name of "MY SIDE WON!) is disgusting.

Viveks long form answers are good but then again so are a lot of DeSantis interviews. You get more time to bull**** and present ideas slowly.
Sometimes Vivek says something and it makes me lol because it comes across very forced (yelling about the American dream etc).
I personally dont believe there is such a thing as the “American people” anymore. The BLM/ANTIFA terror riots demonstrated that. Imo there are 2-3 nations housed inside this country. So when politicians say “The American people” I almost immediately shut down.
I have nothing in common with a person of color queer from Portland, a loud mouth Yankee from Boston or those freaky fake-nice people from places like Minneapolis.
The system is designed to allow these people to enrich themselves. That’s exactly what DeSantis will be busy doing if elected. Vivek and Trump just don’t need the money though I think Trump actually loves the country. Vivek is Indian and has no real historical connection to British common law, Roman republic principals or Greek free thought (though a bit more than most due to British control of India).
I no longer expect people from certain parts of the world to even understand what America is or is supposed to be.
