Dont eat a chit ton of animal products or saturated fats srs

Im talking eggs, steak and chit.
Red meat is the chit, dont get me wrong, but for perfect lipid profile & cardiovascular health, you want to keep them at 600g/week MAX. Also the eggs, 1 a day could be alright, not sure, but id aim for 3eggs a week. Get them fats somewhere else like avocados & nuts.

My ldl jumped from 2.6 to 4.0 in 3 months on a low carb high fat. 3eggs a day minimum, like 4lbs red meat a week. And no veggies wont save you, i downed approximately lb of veggies a day.

Fact of the matter is you need fiber, you need dumb empty carbs, like rice. You cant drop the carbs its just a recipe for disaster srs.
I dont think these joe rogans and jordan åetersons who fk with the carnivore diet speak hones about their bloodwork. I bet the house both those suckers between 4-5 ldl. "Muh i feelz great" sure, i feel great on oxycodone too doesnt make it healthy

Thoughts? Srs thread. Tell me your experiences with different diets & what would be your optimal meal plan for health.

Cheers

Those numbers do not explain anything directly. It is a large mechanism that I do not think animal fats alone activates.

The body uses cholesterol to repair damage done to cells. Eating inflammatory foods raises cholesterol. The cholesterol itself is not bad. You'd be even more ****ed if it was low.

You want SRS thread I give you SRS answer.

When I was doing keto, my LDL went up and my blood sugar didnt improve. (I am not an obese pre-diabetic, just want to optimise).

Only my test was giga high. IDK if keto or because I was seeing a pretty hot black girl with an amazing body. The plump round butt and tiny waist, plus she enjoyed raw anal which felt so amazing on me - literally a rock right now thinking about it. I was exploding pretty hard every single time with her and I think she boosted my test.

Here is a comparison, each block first one is keto the other with carbs:

The diet with carbs resulted in much better LDL and HOMA-IR (surprised about the HOMA-IR)... Test dropped but it is still high...

Basically, reduced my total fat intake by choosing leaner meats (I do not like non-animal majority-fat sources like avocado, olives, I only use EVOO to help the lean meat not burn in the oven).

This doesn't necessarily mean more chicken than beef. Lean beef and lean beef mince can be just as good as a chicken breast. Just focus on total reduction.

I dont eat dairy because my skin goes to **** and I am lactose intolerant. I dont like the taste of fish that much.

Now when it comes to carbs it becomes more interesting... You said "you need dumb empty carbs like rice"... well I dont think so... I get carbs only from whole fruit, which packs a lot of vitamins and minerals and fiber. I also feel much better after eating 2 apples vs 100 grams (uncooked weight) of white rice.

The problem with carbs is the average Joe is eating 300 from fries not just about 50 grams worth from fruit. And yes majority of gym-goers can power themselves with 50-100 grams of carbs per day.

There is also a consistency thing... red kidney beans and oatmeal might theoretically be better than fruit (under someone's hypothesis). OK but they taste like **** compared to strawberries, apples or mcdonalds burger. Good luck enjoying them unless they are deep in sugar and tomato sauce Heinz-style.....

So I do high protein from meat (I have days where I eat pork shoulder steaks or chicken wings for higher fat, and days where I eat skinless/boneless thighs or lean beef steak/mince... this averages out with lower end but sufficient fat). So meat takes care of my protein and fat (as I really cant be bothered with avocados or olives or coconuts or whatever)... Then I just eat 60 grams of carbs from various fruits and that is it.

Fructose damage to the liver... YADA YADA YADA... Look at my liver health... Doc says these stats are top percentiles and he would be surprised if I end up with liver problems ever.

This bring me to the importance of one thing - I used to drink socially (2-3 beers at parties 2-5x times per year) from 15/16 to 18-19 of age. From 19 I just stopped at all and have not had a single drop of alcohol (doesn't matter if wine or cider or vodka). I am 26 now and I will do this till I die - no reason for alcohol. I think this strongly influences my liver health.

Supplements: Omega 3s in the form of krill oil, Vitamin D3 and Calcium...

I have seen many videos of the same kind from people just like him.

Then, if I sit down and spend disproportionate amount of time looking at the paper and looking at the video claim and when I see how misrepresented a statement from the video is based on what is actually stated in the paper... it is over.

Not saying this is true particularly for him, but for many like him. The more clickbait the title and the thumbnail the more it is engineered for max views.

Yes, no one can disprove that "establishment" salaried scientists might have incentive to appease certain corporate/grant-giving entities... But how are the brain dead miscers who re-iterate this argument completely oblivious to the fact that this incentive relationship is much more visible, linear and stronger for someone trying to maximize his monetizable YouTube views?

LDL measure is worthless without Apo B measurement as well. What about your HDL in the same period? Pay more attention to your triglyceride levels than LDL or total cholesterol. Also how long were you fasted each time before testing? Fasting leads to a spike in LDL, so if you weren't fasted for same number of hours before each test it's not an apples to apples comparison. Inflammation is the primary driver of heart disease, so if your insulin levels are good and your triglycerides are good you can relax.

Mirin srs. Looks great even on the keto.
Ill definetly add more fruit on my diet.
