Where to buy a new LAPTOP battery?

I been using this beat up HP ELITEBOOK 840 5th gen for a while now, the battery is absolutely toast.

I've had literally zero luck in the past with buying replacement batteries, because the "new" replacement batteries are already dead....

is NEWEGG legit? or do they just send you chit from alibaba vendors in CHYNA?

I'll pay double the lowest price if anyone here can confirm a good place to source laptop batteries.

REPS FOR ADVICE.

My laptop battery is gone, too. I'm taking it to a 'Batteries Plus' shop near me.
