Good news - car prices going down

Used car prices are down 6.6% year over year, and only up 2% from this time two years ago. New vehicles are going down a little bit too, but not as much.

Of course prices are definitely higher than pre-pandemic but they're on a trajectory to keep going down. You can actually find new vehicles below MSRP at some places, unheard of for a few years.

Thankfully bought my last car back in 2019 and got a great deal. Don't expect to need another car any time soon, but can't wait to punish these dealers when the time comes for price gouging when times were tough. They really took advantage of the situation, but the pendulum always swings back.

I hear ya brother. We have 3 vehicles between the two of us so we're not in the market for another one anytime soon, but I still look forward to seeing prices dropping for at least another year, maybe two.
