I got my business idea from the misc two years ago.

Haven't seen that miscer post in a while. He made a thread with his idea and I stole it srs. Have sold $600k since then. Christmas season is right around the corner and I'm expecting to blow past the $1mil mark. Ty boyo

That’s good. This place can be a source of immense knowledge and helpful posters. Less so today, but even still at times. I would trust a miscer before I trust a Redditor. I got my Amazon FBA business idea from the misc too srs. There was a 40+ page thread of brahs making bank going back to the early 2010s. Back then you could source phone cases from Alibaba and resell at a 500% markup. It was like printing money. I didn’t catch on until 2018 when competition got much steeper. Junglescout was a helpful tool for identifying niches by then.

Solely PPC advertising on Amazon. The only other marketing was getting featured on a random blog about my product. No idea who posted it but they did on their own.

If I had to do it all over again I probably would look into other forms of marketing. PPC was an expensive choice, however it did get me to page 1 for all of my target keywords organically within a month or two. By the time I stopped selling I had the #5 best seller in my sub category. I wasn’t selling phone cases tho. I got into vape accessories. It was a more obscure niche with some room for newcomers (at least at that time).
