Why are you going by general election polls anyway? State polls are what matter. And sometimes, they're wrong. Kari Lake was up in the polls by +3.5 in Arizona. She lost. Dr. Oz had a slim lead in Pennsylvania. He lost decisively. Herschel Walker was up in the polls in Georgia. He lost.

You're superimposing how you feel onto others. For how convinced you are trump is going to win there are people on the other side that are convinced trump will lose.

1. He may not get 76million votes because his base, primarily consisting of boomers, have died out in the past 4 years either due to the pandemic or old age. Millennials and GenZ combined (who overwhelmingly vote liberal) are now the largest voting block. Millennial and GenZ women are upset at trump because he appointed judges that rescinded the RvW ruling and Millennials and GenZ men are upset at the GOP as a whole because they sued the current administration preventing them from forgiving student loans.

2. Just because mexicans and Puerto Ricans both speak spanish doesn't mean they vote the same. He'll get the PR (Florida) vote but not the mexican (Arizona) vote. Moreover, male blacks and mexicans that are influenced by a mug shot won't be able to vote because a good number of them are ineligible due to be incarcerated or because they haven't paid legal fees due to being a criminal (in Florida at least). The minorities that are eligible to vote (hispanic women/black women) on the other hand overwhelmingly vote democrat.

3. It was suppose to be a minority blow-out for trump in 2020 as well, and 90% of blacks still voted for the other party. If the mugshot is as influential as you say,maybedemocrats will only get 85% of the minority vote instead of 90% and thats being generous.

I actually think the GOP has a better shot at winning if one of the other candidates get the republican nomination, but stubborn trump supporters are playing this "all or nothing game" when the goal should be to just get the democrats out of power.
