Yeah bro you don’t even know. Wegmans used to be open 24/7 and it was amazing. When I was 17-18 I would go phuck my gf all night long, then walk home about 4am before her mom got home from an overnight nursing shift. On the way back I would stop in the store for a half moon cookie or some egg rolls from the prepared foods section and eat it while walking. Empty balls and a full stomach, no responsibilities, no care in the world and an empty city all to myself. 10/10 feels.

Also used to love getting off work at midnight in my early 20s and going shopping. The store would be dead except the cleaning people and sometimes a dude walking around with a boombox srs.

Now Wegmans and basically every other store closes early because “covid” (which is bullchit).

Life was so much better back then. I miss it every single fkin day.

It would make sense to break up the 9-5 bull**** we are so fixed on. Delivery drivers could deliver 6-10pm or something when the roads have stuff all traffic. School can be any time. Spreading things out would ease congestion.

Places I've been to that are basically open all the time seem to turn into degenerate chitholes to an extent.

Bangkok comes to mind. You can party hard there like 18 hours per day, 7 days per week. It kinda loses its enjoyment after a while.

Obviously living in a small town where everything is closed by 10 also isn't the way, but I like how most US major cities do it. Bars til 4am on weekends, 2-3am every other night. Can get most food like 6AM-4AM. I don't really need these things outside of these hours.

I don't even live in a big city, but it's pretty rare that I ever want something and can't get it nowadays.

Seems like almost every store stopped being open 24/7 when covid happened. It makes no sense, they just wanted an excuse to cut hours
