I get treated better when I grow out my beard

People seem to treat me with more respect or something. Anyone else notice this?

I have noticed this with the exception of older white ladies seeming to view me more as a low class thug the longer my beard gets.

Yes, you’ll get treated with more respect but you will also be more likely to be seen as a threat. When I grow my beard out I got a lot of compliments on it, but a friend of mine said I look like a mean mofo with my beard. I grew my beard out for like 4 months a couple winters ago, I looked like a combination of Russell Brand and Al Pacino in Serpico.
