Cold Plunge Options
Anyone here have a cold plunge that isn't ridiculously expensive? If so what brand do you recommend.

fill your bathtub full of cold water and buy a $3 bag of ice at the gas station. Dump ice in water, wait 5-10 minutes. Ice bath complete

Buy an assload of ice at the gas station and put in bathtub but this is expensive if you are doing regularly
The “right” thing to do is to get a chest freezer. Waterproof it. Fill it with water and let it run for a couple days. But ain’t nobody got time for that
If it gets cold where you live in the winter just jump in a lake

Both wife and I do it several times a week. Ice becomes prohibitively expensive and 1 bag will only drop the temp a degree or 2, so it’s 3-4 bags to drop maybe 10 degrees which is still only about a 10 degree drop.

Realistically only needs to be below 60 degrees to be maximally effective.
My tap water in san diego is about 65. Same with the swimming pool.
So pretty much I just jump in the pool after a workout and although its not the coldest, it technically gives me ok results.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
