Have to put my cat to sleep today brahs.. hold me

Had her for 18 years brahs...going to the vet in an hour to say my goodbyes, tearing up just thinking about it.

Really hope i don't break down when i kiss her for the last time, fuark hold me brahs..

Had to do the same to my 23 year old cat. Definitely had to look away.

Sorry man. I've only had to put down 1 animal and thankfully the situation made it painfully obvious it was the only thing to do. Its hard not to think about how you could have been a better owner for them, just know they enjoyed the time.

A friend of mine who is pretty emotionless was fine when he put his dog down and they were attached at the hip. I asked him how he did it and his response was "I gave her a good life, way better than anyone else would have. We had tons of great times together and her life was better because of me."

I hope you can look at it that way brah as that might ease the pain, don't worry about breaking down. Its normal if you have a soul.
