According to that other thread, cop deserved it, or was dirty doing an on-the-side drug deal that went wrong. Only reason why someone would shoot at a cop. So I'm told by the misc anyway.

Buddy of mine's brother was a cop is DC and then joined the Army with a Ranger contract. His mom was worried but I was laughing with him about it. He'll see more gun battles in southeast DC than in the Middle East.
