Graphic video. You can see the shots bouncing off the concrete.
Thankfully he has and is recovering well.
6 super thugs have been arrested thus far.

According to that other thread, cop deserved it, or was dirty doing an on-the-side drug deal that went wrong. Only reason why someone would shoot at a cop. So I'm told by the misc anyway.

Those cops actually did the best they could in a tough situation. The downed cop returning fire as rounds impact around him probably saved his life.

There really isn’t another job compareable to being a police officer other than military combat arms when it comes to danger.
Being a cop is like being on deployment everyday not knowing when you’ll get that call or if that simple traffic stop will turn into a OIS.
In the Infantry all your patrol contact usually turns into combat but you’re not deployed the whole length of your service.

Almost looked like a set up. Baiting a cop to follow and stopping near a designated house where the perps were locked and loaded.

What do these officers think they’re doing getting into shootouts with thugs? They should be enforcing seat belt tickets instead!

lemme guess race of the suspects.
i'd never be a cop now, too many out of control astronauts, border wide open and dems letting everyone go. 20 years you'll see mass exodus of americans from this chithole nation to asia/europe.
