Just saw Vampires (1998). Entertaining gory action horror flick. James Woods is the main character and has some lulzy non-PC lines that miscers will appreciate.

Mulholland drive and Lost Highway are two David Lynch favorites of mine. Can be considered thrillers.

Modern Hollywood is just trash. I recently saw Talk to me , and it was the dumbest crap I have ever seen. Teens laughing their asses off at their friends getting possessed and turning into demons infront of their eyes basically treating it like a party trick. Just so dumb even for horror.

Movie about a nice guy, worked hard his whole life. Met a lovely girl. Asked her to marry her and paid all his life savings to take her on a fancy cruise. Ship crashes into iceberg, and his wife runs off and smashes someone from the lower decks after doing a nudie spread He tries to rescue her but she dun give a fuk. He manages to get on a life raft, and he watches this bish push people off another floaty. Later she writes a book and tells everyone how much of a kunt he is and he never recovers from losing all his money to this bish, who then gets a magic jewel worth a bajillion dollars and chucks it into the ocean for lols.

5/10, not a bad twist, but not really my thing.7.5/10, I could see why the misc likes it. Few things more life-affirming than watching White men killing cannibal savages.Seen those. Lynch's works fascinate me. This has to be my favorite scene:

Already repped you for the other film. Looked up the film and don't think I've seen it. The thing with me is that I'm generally not big into horror/thriller that has too much realism. I notice the film has Kevin Spacey in it. See, movies like Se7en and the Usual Suspects do it for me because there is almost a mystical level to them. Like that film, Mute Witness has a similar feel where the character's paranoia leads to hallucinations, etc. I'm big into psychological stuff or stuff with ghosts/possessions. I'm sure I'll watch the film later. Movies with realism are most interesting when dealing with geniuses and how their brain works. That's also why I enjoyed watching Good Will Hunting and have seen it several times.

I assume you've seen Hellraiser? I just rewatched this two nights ago, holy fuk it is good. I love the concept of the Cenobites, even though Clive Barker had a much more abstract concept of them in his books before the movie made them into torture porn demons.


But since you said no 80s, I recommend The Eye from 2002. The original Asian version. Girl gets eye surgery, allows her to start seeing undead/ghosts. Scary, scary movie. The recent Talk to Me is also good.



For more thrillers, I recommend David Lynch's movies, Lost Highway in particular (he is the director of Mulholland Drive). Also in that vein, Gaspar Noe's Enter the Void, and Synecdoche New York, Coherence, Exam, The Invitation, The House that Jack Built.

Every time a thriller recommendation comes up I recommend cold fish and nobody ever watches it. Fkn misc I swear.

Eastern Promises has a great naked fight scene with lots of close ups of aragorns floppy penis.

Probably the best floppy penis fight scene ever, until it was surpassed by righteous gemstones season 3.

Have seen pretty much all of the films you have mentioned. Hellraiser 1 and 2 and part of 4 are good. Have also seen all of the Hellraiser films, including the remake. The Eye, have watched both versions.

I wrote no 80s, because I've most likely watched pretty much everything that was on all the top lists, even the stuff that wasn't. You could recommend something, it's just that it's more likely than not that I have already seen it. It would have to be something that isn't well known. When it comes to horror, I've also seen a lot of the obscure stuff like August Underground and Guinea Pig series, etc. I'm certain that I've watched tens of thousands of movies by now. Used to check them out from local library or order them from other libraries and binge watch several a day, lol.Will add it to the list.Have watched those, quite certainly even John Q. I miss when Hollywood used to make all those action movies like The Rock. OK, so I watched every single movie that was recommended. Some were kind of hard to find, lol. I'm kind of tired of rating every film I watch. Instead, I'll say which film I enjoyed most from the ones recommended:

Gonna go with Suspect Zero and Terrified. Didn't really feel sorry for the guys in Calibre, because they were dumbasses who went hunting illegally while hung over and the other dude was probably still high during the trip, lol. Watched Dead Reckoning last night and it's my favorite film this year. Wonder how they'll end the Mission Impossible series with Part Two. EDIT: NVM, looks like they have plans for more films in the future.
