I worked a secret security job at Walmart. Many years ago. It was exciting. Mostly engaged in conversation with shoplifters while holding them until the police came to take them. And trespassers who were banned from Walmart getting arrested on the spot.

I worked at Walmart for 4 months earlier this year , there is currently a shoplifting epidemic

I wasn’t sure. The surveillance tech now through cams, phones, etc has to have evolved. Making it a ton easier to catch acts of shoplifting now. So many shoplifters got away with it in the 90’s 00’s. Now I would have no idea how to pocket a pack of bubblegum undetected.
