The sensation you feel at takeoff. It’s like your body becomes weightless, like on an elevator x1000. One time I felt that and thought we were falling out of the sky.

Not really being able to move around. Seriously don't know how people do it just sitting like slobs for multiple hours in the same spot and never getting up and moving.

Even if you do try to get up a move around there's really nowhere to go. You end up in the way in the aisle so you can't really move around for very long even if you try. It's awful.

Google and microsoft don’t own me, all my ideas, my children’s or get to influence my healthcare decisions while I lose everything I own. For decades have the dem party allowed things like the dotcom bubble, the housing market collapse, big bank bail outs and now because of Joey Sandusky himself covid-19… be a war against poor people and the middle class.

If you’ve contacted Lockheed you know? Mr Sandusky and his party tried to bribe me. But? I held firm to the trump PateRNo nsa plan… subsidies and law to improve better pay for people who most need it. And at an expense to my wellbeing, health, mental sanctity and freedom. Don’t let Sandusky executive orders and lies betray the truth.

MackowITZ I’ve spent near a decade, paying to work and enduring the most obscene conditions to deliver. Taking insane risks with little chance of success. I’m sorry, not sorry. I can’t get peace of mind in a dem wasteland and until the nsa/military/fbi/interpol get Sandusky out of the way? I don’t deserve it.

airplanes - the people
third world helicopters - just don't trust them. Coming off a rig in Brazil, they didn't even bother to weigh anyone or their stuff, just had us estimate. Pretty sure it was overloaded. Usually after they finish the initial hover they pick up altitude pretty quickly. This one felt like it was straining with all its might to slowly get off the rig.

Feeling trapped. Turbulence. Being near a crying/bratty baby or child. Not being able to sleep.

All that said, I don't mind flying too much, I like getting served food and the little entertainment screens. I usually take a sleep aid that knocks me out in like 30 mins as well, so I can get several hours of sleep.

First time I flew I had crazy restless leg syndrome. It was legit maddening.

Ears popping is the worst, though. I had a cold when I flew to Detroit earlier this year and it took two days for my right ear to pop.

It felt like they were going to rupture when we descended. Never flying with a cold again.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

The size of the seats. I fit but not comfortably.

Also airlines have gone to chit since COVID. Seems like 90% of flights are delayed now. Can't even think of the last flight that I've been on that wasn't fukked up somehow.

I used to fly to Florida like all the time because most of my family lives there. So when I’d vacation and stay in country. Florida was where I’d go otherwise it would be the carribean but I been signed to this nightmare dd214 for like a decade since 2013 at psu because? I went thru the nsa thing at psu first of its kind.

So I haven’t been on a flight in a while except for Utah

I don’t know Priceline and spirit hooked it up I paid less than 100$ for a ticket

Fire but? I have to go from pgh to Miami and then hang out in Miami for 9 hours before catching another flight to Tampa and I’m like?

Hmm was this intentional? Maybe I’m going to be destined to meet ladies in the airport where is the dhs rn

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Dumbasses who stand when the plane lands.

Non travelers who can’t figure out the bin storage for their carry ons.

Kids crying.

SecuritY theatre that is tsa.

First class on domestic flights doesn’t even feel like it.

Every time I fly I feel bad about being a poorcel who can’t charter a private jet. Makes me motivated to rise up, but that feeling dissipates and then I remember it when threads like this show up.

I like flying and particularly the airport.

I will happily give someone a ride to the airport and pay to park so i can hang around in it.

Not sure why I like it so much but I do for some reason.

This actually happened to me about 4 yrs ago was terrible, but kinda funny.

Was flying from Amsterdam back home to the States. Of course my luck got a really fat woman on the aisle seat that tried to talk to me, and wouldn't shut up, and then when she fell asleep her fat arm get pouring into my seat, and kept nudging me probably was dreaming about food.

Woman that had the window seat during drink service ordered 3 mixed alcoholic drinks back to back and chugged them, and then passed out the whole flight with her mouth open was pretty funny, because at times it looked like she was dead. She probably had taken some sleeping pills before the flight.

When it was food service it became kinda awkward, because you could tell the flight attendant wanted to wake her up to ask if she wanted food, but really wanted to see if I would wake her up for her....I gave her this look....

Turbulence is just like potholes on the road. When you go over a pothole you don't think Omg, gonna die, you just get annoyed at it. The same goes for the plane.

Flying is an eminently safe mode of transport. Nothing to worry about there, but kuntfhag passengers are something to worry about.
