The clowns brought back masks here.

But only in hospitals.

The medical scientist god queen Bonnie Henry proceeded to lecture us with charts and graphs explaining the 2 week scenario on the trusted government funded news show today.


People will comply too, cuz trust the science and chit.


I would post an article, but I feel the truthfulness and scientific facts these news outlets use is so great, that no link is needed.

Hospitals and medical clinics here will bring back masks when their arbitrary threshold for virus activity is crossed. It is a group of different providers so on paper it’s not the county mandating it but the health officer here is a compete whackjob so this was entirely his doing. Yes it now includes the flu and rsv. They are trying to make us mask for the flu. I seriously wonder how many people will comply because my last visit to the doctor had exactly 2 people masking including staff. One was an old lady with a mask around her chin and another was some chick with blue hair that looked terrified to be there.

Another right wing misinformation boogeyman because I was told we would never mask for the common cold.

Just got notice today- my hospital system starts masks again Monday until March 2024.

What I dont understand about mask cells, first, they dont work, unless they are properly fitted N95s, but even so, if you believe they work and are wearing one, whats the issue?

Also, what gets overlooked is, people who wear masks will more readily put themselves in situations(large crowds, etc) because they have a false sense of security, thus actually exposing themselves even further.

The cult of masks is difficult to understand. Most people that I see continuing to wear masks are not even wearing them properly. Either they are under their nose or they are so loose that there are huge openings on the side of the masks.
Don't even get me started on the people that I see wearing masks in their vehicles when they are driving by themselves. And yes I just saw one a few days ago.

I don't recall seeing any hospital workers wearing masks outside of surgery back then. But to be fair I haven't spent a ton of time in hospitals.

What employees wearing masks? Serious question.

They'd put them on for surgeries or delivering a baby, while doing some other procedures. That's it. No reason to wear one otherwise. Nice attempt, but epically hard FAIL.

Edit: ditto for nursing homes. I spent thousands of hours in nursing homes, and pre 2020 never saw anyone with a mask on except when entering a specific patient's room. Some with MRSA and another highly contagious condition. I saw it happen in maybe 10 rooms out of thousands.

My dental hygienist did, but you're right, we didn't really pay much attention to it in a medical setting.
