More officers were injured/killed in BLM riots and other protests than on Jan 6th, and during the Portland riots they tried to break into the federal courthouse, so why should they not be charged and labeled the same as the people on Jan 6th?

Because the 1-6th terrorists directly attacked our Constitution. They tried to cancel the electoral process via violence just because they got their asses kicked in an election. Trumpers tried to install a totalitarian government just like Hitler tried in 1923 and Mussolini succeeded at in 1922.
