US Border: 700K Processed Just Through Eagle Pass

Musk in Eagle Pass, TX speaking with local officials on the ground. 700K people officially entering through a town of only 28K people. I believe the mayor said they have had as many as 19K immigrants at one time.

The men he speaks with say that the actual number of uninvited immigrants could be as much as double the official numbers because they do not detain and process all of them. Also say that no repatriation is taking place - meaning zero people are being returned to their home countries.

The numbers being allowed to just walk in is hard to fathom.

NYC and DC both need to receive at least 1000 of them every single day. I think governor Abbott has gotten it to 500 a day to NYC and 400 a day to DC this past month, so he's getting the numbers up. I think a fund to give them tents to camp in by the Capitol should be set up.

It's certainly unfair for the border states to be expected to suffer alone.

Or we could have secure borders. Kind of liking closing the barn after the cow gets out, but also when you are in a hole stop digging, yeah?

Was just getting ready to make my daily illegals thread in R/P for the Paul Hookem Tweet.

The Center for Immigration Studies did a FOIA to get all the info on the illegals from 4 different countries. The Biden Admin won't tell them which 43 different cities they are flying to though. Todd Bensman, who put the report together, suspects that many of the Haitians, Cubans and Venezuelans are flying into Miami.

It's a wild story.

But one of the least noticed, mysterious and potentially most controversial of the new rechanneling programs that use the CBP One app allows migrants to take commercial passenger flights from foreign countries straight to their American cities of choice, flying right over the border — and even over Mexico.

For this measure, Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, Haitians and Colombians request “advance travel authorizations” through the same CBP One mobile app and take commercial flights (“at their own expense”) directly into US airports, where US Customs officers parole them into the nation, sight unseen, and in numbers publicly unknown.

Shocking 3.8 million migrants have entered US since Biden took office — 1.5 million sneaked in and are still here
Biden officials have rarely, if ever, spoken of this flight program in the year since implementing it, perhaps mindful of the political outcry over the late-night “ghost flights” that DHS stealthily arranges to ferry migrant children into various airports.

But records show that between late October 2022 and mid-September 2023, the administration approved a total of 221,456 Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans and Nicaraguans for “travel mode: air.”

These Haitians favored one redacted airport — some 47,768 flew into that airport. Among Venezuelans, 63,360 flew into 43 airports — but 39,474 of them into one preferred airport.

Some 46,794 Cubans flew into 41 airports, yet the majority of them, 33,355, favored one in particular.

It’s likely that the preferred airport in all these cases was Miami, but we won’t know for sure unless CBP provides the unredacted information.

- it isn't mainly Mexicans

- the government isn't even "doing nothing" they are facilitating it and fighting efforts by individual states to secure their border with Mexico

Between Biden Admin keeping the border wide open for the entire world, and these secret flights directly into US cities, the whole thing is outrageous, if not treasonous.

Where do they live?
How do they work to earn money since they cannot legally work in the USA
how do they pay for food?
How do they make a living?

You cant just cross a border and integrate into society easily.

Few of them coming over illegally now are Mexicans. It's mostly people from South America and the Caribbean, but also people flying from other continents to sneak in through the southern border. India, China, African countries, you name it.

That's because you are white. Kind of serious. So-called immigrants from first world nations attempting to immigrate to the US seem to be mostly unwelcome. I believe there are maximum caps set on how many may immigrate here.

Some are being put into housing and fed at government expense. I've seen people online saying they get a free $2K a month which is more than the average social security check, but that may be false information. kimm4 already posted that hotels in her area are packed. I saw a comment just yesterday which claimed all of the basic accommodations in NYC area and NJ are filled up with these immigrants at government expense which is forcing anyone who wants to visit for business or as a tourist to book into the more expensive hotels because there is nothing else available.

Some are being granted legal work status:




It's mainly seen as a win by business I think. These people can be hired for lower pay and they will take it because they are not legal to work and the US government is subsidizing them.

You might need to make $25 an hour to afford a modest lifestyle, but if their housing/medical/food are being covered by taxpayers then they can work for $12 or $15 no problemo jeffe.

It helps a lot if they know someone here. Illegals are a tight knit group, so they hook up other illegals they know like you wouldn't believe. A friend of a friend was an illegal. She made good money selling phones and accessories at a kiosk at a mall. My ex introduced me to a nice cleaning lady at her graduate school. The lady was an illegal. The school was a state university, so LOL at them hiring illegals. I bartended at a couple of restaurants and half of the guys in the kitchens were illegal. They had fake paperwork (somebody else's identity and social security number, which is VERY VERY common) which the owners knew was fake but didn't care.
