Amazon just fuked up

1000's of people atleast(probably much more widespread) got this email (it's legit from Amazon), and the title is "Important information about your gift card order".

Amazon reps are claiming it was a poorly worded email. I just spent a while checking my credit charges etc., was on hold with Chase, and then found some reddit threads.

I received 3 of those emails for Google Play, hotels.com and Mastercard gift card. I was really nervous as well since with phishing you can usually spot something suspicious from the return email address.

What a mess. Amazon should send emails stating there was a mistake instead of worrying millions of people (if that many received the email) by doing nothing.
