Why do people hate you for not wanting kids?

This is something I just don’t understand/can’t wrap my head around. I’m a member of another online forum that trends right wing and someone posted about how they’re glad they never had kids. Everyone jumped down their throat calling them an azzhole*/selfish/narcissistic for not doing so. Uhhh, narcissistic for NOT having kids? I see it the other way around. Most people who I know who have them act like they’re the greatest thing on earth and would get offended if you didn’t see it the same way. I never understood that.

Personally, I have never thought of having kids myself. It has absolutely zero appeal to me. I’m a man, I just don’t give a crap about it and I don’t think most other men do either. Seems to me like it’s something most dudes just fall into when they shack up with a chick. I’m just a regular dude making what is basically average pay now, and I know I wouldn’t be able to give any children of my own the experiences that I had growing up. That’s the other thing you get accused of- being “broken” in some way for not wanting them. I had a great childhood, me and my brother never wanted for anything and had plenty of support. My parents are still happily married after 40
years. It’s all well and good, but I just never wanted that for myself. And now at 32 years old, I sit back and think to myself how grateful I am that I never got married or knocked someone up. I think I’m pretty normal but the world seems to have a problem with it. Not sure why. I personally think people are horrible for having them when they’re poor and can’t really afford it (less than about 200K a year income). Thanks for tuning in to my Monday morning rant…

Is this the same deal as I was hearing yesterday on the tv downstairs when I walked down?

All of these bs rendition chit going on

I thought everything was perfect, we were all good I was supposed to move for a job

She didn’t want to…

And I didn’t see it coming

How on earth do covid sex offenders push themselves into all of these facets of life. Like anyone cares about a cuckvid adsense rapist?

Wtf is this and how is this happening?

Like? It’s weird to not want to have the only thing of value about a relationship taken away and on top of it have to get raped and be surprised that someone is upset about civil liberty deprivation

What the hell happened

I don't get it either. It's either that, or they insist that you must be a "copeing incel" because apparently it's impossible for someone to genuinely not want to have kids.

It's more the "I choose not to get into relationships with women" thing that makes you a coping incel, not being anti kids.

Also it's interesting to see this attitude so commonly on a forum which otherwise is extremely biased to the right. BRB complaining about collapsing native birth rates while choosing never to have kids, just lol.

They're mad because you didn't fall in the trap they've fallen into, you're a free man, a man with kids is not.

You just ignored the social pressure, others cucked and got broken by it. + deal with their aging, ugly wife.

Especially brutal if you're an average wageslave making an average income, what future can you give your children? They will have the same depressing wageslave cuck life like you.

Throughout history it was women who would go into panic attacks when they realized they didn't have sons to get married and take care of them in their old age. Men, on the other hand, had bigger plans, such as conquest and expanding their empires and thinking about the workforce needed to get chit done.

There were many warriors of old who cared not about settling down and wanted to drink mead and pump slave girls full of coom after destroying their enemies on the battlefield. It was only kings that mainly worried about having sons to continue running their nation or kingdom. Soyciety weakened men and all this *******ry has been like this since the days of chivalry.

If anything is "incel" behavior, it's being the dork who puts women on such a pedestal that he can't imagine why some guys legit prefer being single.

I always think that assumption is funny too. I’ve had way more sex than most married people with kids. With a lot more partners too. I’ve had probably 15 girlfriends at this point. I’m nowhere close to an incel.

they don't hate you

but just existing to eat ice cream and go on tinder and do << insert whatever activity >> gets old really quickly

having said that.... a lot of people shouldn't be having kids. For eg. ****** shouldn't reproduce

but unfortunately, a lot of smart people who absolutely should reproduce, end up overthinking it and not producing, so we end up in a world full of ****** and losers instead, while smart kants are too busy doing phd in literature and arguing with losers on reddit

my grandfathers generation it seemed common to find a good woman and have 3, 4, 5 kids...heck my great grandfather died in the 80s and they don't even know exactly how many kids he had in total...15-20+ maybe.

nowadays people having 4 kids is like a super breeder. i have one cousin with 4 and a friend from the doninican with 5. those are the only ones i personally know with 4+ kids. the cousin with 4 has wealthy parents and basically a live-in nanny being her mom.

Hahaha I’ve bounced back and forth mentally here bre. Not about the conquest and workforce thing. They go hand in hand.

I mean about the whole just going back on another bender.

But I realize that a lot of this is only about extra experienced you know?

Hard not to experience extra and be like? Yup I’m out

My personal experience - I always went back and forth on having kids. When I found out I was going to be a father I was 35 and had figured I wasn't going to have ever have any. At the time I honestly hoped she'd get an abortion. I'm so glad she didn't, as I now can't imagine my life any other way now. I will say this - I have 3 kids and it's too many these days. Especially since the 2nd and 3rd are only a year and a half apart. I completely understand why people usually have 1-2. Though I can't imagine my life without my kids I don't begrudge those who don't. It really is harder now than in the past. The "go outside and come back when the streetlights come on" days are basically over. Kids in most neighborhoods don't know each other unless the parents know each other first or the other kids are just a few doors down. If you both work, daycare and summer camps for each kid are likely more expensive than in-state college tuition.

Even beyond expenses there are so many written and unwritten rules that didn't exist just a few decades ago for parents. My mom jokes about how she'd have been arrested back in the day under today's rules and laws. I called my oldest's school about the nearest stop being about a mile away, even though the school is less than two miles away. "Sorry, nothing we can do" so we have to drive him every morning. Stuff like that adds up. Kids are certainly not for everyone, and certainly not for anyone who isn't in a long-term relationship. If you don't want kids, don't have them. If "oops" happens in the future while you're in a serious relationship, cherish that child.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

yeah, sometimes my mom talks about how nice it would be to have 4 kids and "how your cousin does it" but have to remind her my cousin does it with wealthy parents, mother that basically lives with them to help with the kids, goes on with and pays for vacations, picks up at school, etc. her decision to "love having lots of kids" might change a little if she didn't have the wealthy parents, a free nanny, had to pay for daycare and a husband that wasn't ok with his MIL living at his house....they buy him stuff too so he just goes with the flow.

You're literally programmed to want to procreate. It's weird if you don't want kids. Kinda like it's weird to be gay.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

All I can say Op when you have one the world takes on a whole new meaning . Everything seems more special more beautiful and you finally start living your life for someone else.

It's a great feeling.

Don't just go out and have one to be having one though. Make sure it's with the ONE. And make sure you are ready for that life change.

No words can describe it really. It comes with a lit of worry but it's worth it

yeah man...sometimes i wonder how people without a kid trudge through decades of life without something more important than themselves to focus on. and every bit of time is like a reliving vivid memories of your own childhood that you forget.
