Anyone remember this classic PC game

Myst!

And all the hoopla around it.

I thought the game was garbage my self. Everyone seemed to love it

Bre I remember shadow warrior

Which I used to play w my uncle David all the time

He was a real estate lawyer in Philly who was obsessed w that game which has since no longer been the case

Since he passed away

Not familiar with shadow warrior. On a PC I only played FPS and a handful of moto race games online.

Appears shadow warrior was a fps. I never heard of it

Classic. Actually downloaded it last year on Steam and played it all the way through again. It's a great game to pass the time when you're not worried about hurrying or doing anything more than puzzles. Need to download Riven now.

I don't know if I'd say best. Multiple player wise UT2003. I'd have to agree.

But just the unreal campaign vs half life. I'd have to go with half life. Halo too

It was like windows 98 chit bre, old as hell

I stopped playing video games after halo 3 because halo 3 ruined video games for me

After microsoft bought it and butchered it? Was over as they are known to do

Luckily tho I quit playing video games and moved onto bigger and better things

Half life 2 was the chit, probably still the best game I’ve ever played to this day. Good mechanics, good story line, no woke BS, and completely engaging with levels/puzzles that actually required you to figure things out & an AI that was actually hard. Game got it right with everything.

Games today are “hard” because enemies are bullet sponges, and if there is a puzzle in the game, you get a big arrow on where to go & what to do. Pathetic.

I'd argue HL1 was better, many people forget but thats what gave us counter-strike.

Leasure Suit Larry was a game that took everyone by surprise. It was so funny to play with a group of friends. It was ahead of its time, where one could type in what you wanted the main character to do.

Look it up if you've never heard of it.

I remember it. It was in game pro magazine. If I remember correctly. Use to have all my game pros game pros egms and next generations going back over a decade.

Never played it though.

myst was GOAT. the best part is you basically think about how to solve a part all day and rush home to try it. I finished the game on PC.
