How do review sites like RottenTomatoes work?

I quickly check reviews sometimes to see if a show is worth it. On a site like RottenTomatoes there are 2 scores

Tomato meter

And

Audience score


Why would we need a "Tomato meter" when an "audience score" is supposedly actual reviews?

It's for the reddit "muh study" crowd and people who worship MSM. They don't actually read or know anything but they put their ultimate trust in some random biased child molester.

Rotten tomatoes is a bunch of liberal azzholes. The audience score tho is pretty reliable in my opinion.

Studios pay for reviews and then Rotten Tomatoes "holds back" negative reviews for movies that push the liberal agenda.
