Never bought a suit in my life. One of the issues is big lifting shoulders and neck so anything that fits those areas looks like a horse blanket around my waist.

Looking to get a couple tailored suits.

Tbh I wouldn’t buy a bunch suits just cuz you think you should have them.

I did they once and I just ended up with a few grand in suits just sitting in my closet getting outdated that I never wear.

If you don’t have to wear suits consistently, you’ll probably never wear them lol.

If you just need one suit for one wedding, I would honestly just buy one from Zara and have it tailored. It will look good. It’s obviously not an investment piece, but you’ll look good for the wedding and you won’t care if it sits in your closet.

Get a decent looking on at the local discount suit places.

The trick is to get them tailored so they fit right. Its not that expensive but it will cost you a bit but its worth it. The suit people can either do it or refer you to someplace that does. its a whole world out there of people doing this that most people dont know exists.

Every mid sized city has an Asian suit tailor. They are DEAD cheap, tailored to order. and are top quality. They typically take 3-6 weeks to deliver.

If you go to reddit, put in your cities name + suit tailor you will get pages of results that will tell you who to use and who to avoid.

You can get a suit that looks like it cost 10k for $500-600.

If you side by side compare them with a sub $1k off the rack suit, there is literally no comparison.

In a lot instances the local tailor is taking your measurements and getting the suits tailored in Vietnam and shipping them back to the US. Vietnam has some of the worlds best tailors so you are getting elite quality fabrics and fits.

What's your budget, either per suit or the total for 3-4?
