Saw a vid of a guy that thought the same, "worse that can happen is that she says no" lol, so he approached a girl at the gym for the first time ever, he claims he had never approached anyone or talked to anyone until that day, never in his life, and the girl basically told him with an expression of disgust in her face that she was married, then went to the desk and complained about the guy, then he was asked by the staff to leave lol.
"just go for it bro" nowadays simply sucks as an advice. Id say become as high value and attractive as possible, then choose from the women that approach YOU. This comes with its bad sides tho, women that approach men are more often than not sloots/promiscuous, but i guess for just casual fun, it works wonderfully.
