The man though, cant say the same.

Dunno, seemed like a bit of a hypocrite.

He was one of the kliq players who were pushing degen stuff (HBK male jiggalo gimmick, best buds with the eventualDegeneration X).
So in short, pushing degen stuff.

But I remember an interview once where he said he was against an angle with Goldust who was supposed to have a 'crush' on him...

He was cool, but had PTSD that was never diagnosed. I think in the late 80's he accidently killed someone, and then got off, because of self defense, but he was also an alcoholic so I think that stuck with him for a long time.

Yeah, Im aware of his issues.
Alcoholism could be to blame for some of his other shortcomings.
Maybe I'm being too hard on him, but I remember one internet radio interview where he was dis-respectful to a lady fan (this happened some time in the last 10-15 years). Nothing serious, just mocking her sincerity. (She said she was a fan and wanted to be his valet).

He was entertaining. One of the last wave of wrestlers that were.

The 80s early mid 90s was wrestling last hey day. GarbGe after that. Maybe you could make a case for the early 2000s.

But the 80s and 90s were the best.

These idiots today. ****..they look like their acting cause they are.. the wrestlers back then molded their character around their persona mostly and the ones who didn't like the boogie woogie man handsome jimmy valiant knew how to act.

Bottom line ots a dead art form and sport.
