Gaming is the best cure for alcohol addiction srs.

Can't believe i'm on Day 4 of being sober.

But downside is: I've been playing video games for 10 hours avg per day

Time just flies and I don't even realize it.

Kinda sucks tho cuz I have 0 energy when I log off and just wanna sleep.

I remember back when I was taking benzos and drinking 3L of wine a night I would play Skyrim and black out every single night. I’d go back the next day and have zero recollection of anything I did in the game. I’d have gone through a huge quest and didn’t remember any of it. Get home at 3pm, chug a bottle of Chardonnay, start playing Skyrim.

Bunch of my gaming friends do drugs/drink while gaming. Personally, I don't get it. Nothing makes me more engaged than gaming.

If a drug makes a boring thing feel more interesting, then it makes a really fun thing feel REALLY REALLY fun. That’s the thought process at least. Or a lack of thought.

But you’re smart to be satisfied with the dopamine hit from the gaming alone.
