I'm currently a brown belt , I started in spring 2010.
Despite being only 29, my joints feel like they're at least 39 (srs) . And I didnt really make an emphasis on competition (I've done maybe 20 tournaments over the last ~14 years, with most being in the first 5 years of training).
I currently train 4 days per week, I try to roll as much as possible but purposefully avoid spazzier/ultra big training partners.
I'm done trying to prove myself, despite being in arguably my athletic prime. I want to get a good workout, have the social element, but still be able to live pain free (which isn't always the case right now)
