Gun store worker charged w/ murder after killing suspected robber w/ criminal record

Gun store employee charged with murder after killing a suspected shoplifter with a criminal record

Houston, Texas – A gun store employee was charged with murder Saturday after killing a suspected shoplifter with a criminal record, concluding a more than a year-long investigation by Houston authorities.
I personally think the "Don't shoot anyone in the back" rule/law is BS, but the fact it is a law.

Shouldn't have shot him when he was running outside.

Im.not lib nor am I a criminal. No real man shoots another man in the back for anything.

The POS robber played a fools game and got a fools prize.. it's sad because the gun store owner is probably a good man who let his emotions and fear get the better of him

Main lesson to be leArned here. Just don't rob and steal and you won't find yourself in such a predicment

LMAO, you don't go chasing someone with your gun pointed at them for them to run and then shoot them when they are no longer a threat. Retarded use of a firearm. He did a great job eliminating the threat from the store, then made a retarded decision to chase him outside and shoot. I'm a huge advocator for guns, the second amendment, and have a lot of firearm training. That right there was completely retarded. Use of a firearm is only warranted to rid of an immediate threat... Idk....to me it's like how someone can be charged with murder when them and a partner commit a violent felony and they are the only ones that survive the police. They more likely then not have never been in that situation and might be afraid the robber will pull out a gun and start shooting at any moment. I saw a broad daylight public carjacking once of an old lady in front of a large outside bar at a mall, me and everyone else (~100 people maybe) all completely froze. No one knew what to do.

Hence why not a good idea to be a thief.

Also legal standard is that threat of having a gun or other weapon whether implied or spoken is armed robbery even if they didn't have one.

Your argument has the logic of a female, narrated by emotion. The point of self defense and use of a gun is to eliminate an immediate threat. Once that threat is no longer immediate, you can't use emotion as your logic and kill them because you felt a certain way. That's no longer self defense. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Believe it or not people feeling justified by the shoot are feeling that way because of our failure to adequately fund (give the money to salaries not pickup military leftovers) the police.

I prefer if we fixed society and had an active police force that could quickly arrest and catch criminals so people wouldn’t feel forced into this position. I’m not ok with society both turning into a lawless hellhole or with shooting people in the back because they snatched some cash.

I may be wrong, but in Texas you can use deadly force to protect property. He ran out with the clerks property, so this should get dismissed sometime in the future.

What good is catching criminals if the government refuses to charge them and let's them go free right after they're booked?

There needs to be severe punishment, hard labor, ass beatings, etc.

Agree that these fukers should be breaking rocks. There is zero deterrence these days.
I have lived 34 years without snatching someone's phone or stealing from someone. I bet you that guy won't be stealing from any stores any time soon.

At worst he should be told off and made to do a refresher course. If we had been allowed to take out all these pond scum shoplifters in California we likely wouldn't have this problem anymore. If the Justice system did their job they wouldn't be on the streets to do these crimes. Fcuk liberals, **** liberal DAs and fcuk Soros. No big loss to society, he might have shot someone on his next robbery so problem eradicated

Yeah. Idiot lst his emotions take over his good judgement.

Id like to say he's getting what he deserves but sadly he probably doesn't deserve what he's going to get. Not as hard as it likely will be anyways.

Then again the store owner could have a shady background too.

Let this be a lesson to everyone never let emotions dictate your actions when it comes to things like this.
