How long is the marathon? What do you snack on when running long distances to prevent your blood sugar from dipping? (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Make sure to chug a lot of beers if the crowd is giving them out during the last several miles. The race doesn't count unless your BAC is three times the legal limit when you cross the finish line.

*In all seriousness, CHERISH it. My last one was in 2009 at the National Marathon in DC. Severe injuries never allowed me to run those races again. I'd do anything to be able to train and run those races again.

26.2 miles

I'm carrying 5 gels with me that I will intake 4.25 miles apart from each other

Each gels has 25 grams of carbs in the form of hydrogel, 2 of them will contain 100mg of caffeine on top of the carbs

So I came from doing a half marathon program straight into a full marathon

My longest runs were 16, 18.6 and 20 miles
Most of the base running came from slow steady runs and a few speed/interval runs

I had a bloody tank top, so a tape covering is really helpful as was endurox.
i just found a sexy woman and paced her from behind the entire race, then passed her at the end.

I've heard the balm stuff surfers use works well to prevent chafing. Looks like there's a bunch of different brands for runners too.

I'm not even gonna lie to you, I was deeply motivated by the amount of good looking woman at my previous race
To me theres nothing more inspiring than a fit, good looking woman in workout/running attire

Agreed!
Athletic women for the win, and it keeps your pace down allowing you to finish strong and stay motivated.

Running/track girls are the best. Skinny/thin with muscle is just fun and useful

Absolutely!

I'm aiming for 4 hours the latest
I ran 1:46 for my first half marathon so I want to be realistic on my effort

Runner girls (long, lean, slender, nice tan, generally not overly narcissistic since their sport is mostly individual) mog gym girls (cartoon asses, BPD, social media whores).
