LOL and you better believe they ask for tips now.

Chit used to be like 23-25$ with chocolate milks in the combos

Never going there again fukin lol. Not a huge loss, was a convenient meal after a long day of errands once in a while though

How can poors afford these things on daily basis?

I took my teenage son and 3 of his friends to a football game and stopped by Subway on the way.

4 of us with footlong combos, extra meat/bacon/drinks/whatever they wanted was over $90.

Something people seem to forget is when the gubmint reports inflation is going down, that's just disinflation. It's not like the price of things such a Subway sandwich are gonna go down in price. It's comical when pro govt people getting excited about inflation slowing. Um okay, that fast food sandwich that was $6.50 pre Covid is still going to be $14 tomorrow, bro. Are we supposed to be excited it won't be $16 until next year instead of next month?

Meanwhile you can create your own 2x foot long subs for less than $10, and it might taste better with more personalized options.

Those subway workers will demand higher wages to keep up with rising cost of chit sandwiches

Subway pays them more but has to increases prices

They all these new fancy sounding versions of subs to justify being $5-$8+ more, but even the classics are $9-$11+.

"Five-Dollar Footlong" was the only time where getting Subway made sense in the price to quality ratio.

At one of the grocery stores nearby (Harris Teeter) you can get big ass subs for like $7-8 still. They put twice as much meat on there as the chain sub places and it honestly tastes better. The ingredients are fresher. Eating a whole one is nearly impossible unless you didn't eat breakfast or you're on a bulk. Bonus: instead of soda I grab a beer to go with it instead of soda.

When they had the $5 subs I'd always get the Italian one. Lots of banana peppers, olives, oil and vinegar every time. I couldn't eat any of their chicken ones since I got food poisoning from one of them and didn't even go into a Subway for a good 5 years later. BRB, shivering under covers with the heat in the hotel room cranked on full blast, hershey squirts for 2 days. I wouldn't trust the tuna either. You just know it's old.

Use the Subway App.
Current codes, works at MOST subway shops.

$6.99 footlong = FOOTLONG699
$12.99 for 2x Footlongs = 1299FL
$17.88 for 3x Footlongs = 1799FL

That's right, you can get a 3x foot long subs for $18.

* Does not include subs that have double meat or double cheese.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

Fast food and restaurants are ridiculous anymore. I'm glad I've never liked fast food that much. I can't even remember the last time I had it.

Congrats, could have bought 2 certified Angus ny strip steaks with top tier marbling, a bushel of asparagus and two baked potatoes for the price you paid on:

2 small loaves of bread
1/8" of meat
a half head of lettuce
2 kid sized bags of chips
2 syrup waters
