Our response should be to give zero fuks and not get involved

I'd say for any terrorist attack the first step is evaluating and strengthening the intelligence and defensive capabilities. Then "surgical" strikes to the necessary extent possible to kill terrorists and organizers, saving full on invasion for a last resort.

As is they haven’t already been doing that for years lol

Terrorists come in to your country, kidnap and kill and bunch of innocent people and your response to your people is “we should really see where we dropped the ball here “

They are terrorists. Go kill them.

Although you would have a hard time convincing me Israel didn’t know this was coming so it’s not about intelligence or defense. It’s why did they let it happen? Money? Power? War?

wasnt a terror attack, it was a prisoner rebellion at most and it was mostly lied about anyways. Those israelis needed that "terror attack" as an excuse to go in there and kill all those Palestinians which are mostly just kids. The USA is equally sick in backing them up by sending a naval fleet to watch palestinians be killed and make sure no other country helps them. We also pay Egypt and Jordan their foreign aid to not attack Israel. those countries are complete puppets to America.

If you take into account what the Israelis have been doing to those people then you could easily argue the "terror attack" was justified. How long should you be ****ed with before you lash out? Americans still have this fear of muslims because of 9/11, even though every piece of evidence will show that Israel infact did 911. Muslims aren't as scary as you think, they aren't hellbound to kill non-muslims - there are even Christians in the gaza strip. They aren't being attack, instead, Christians are attacked by the Christ-killing jews in Israel.

Israeli should respond by quit abusing those people. Israel has been violating every international law with regards to their treatment of the Palestinians for decades and getting away with it.
It should be a sovereign nation without israelis armed with American weaponry surrounding them provoking them into a fight at every turn. its literally an open air prison, people need to get that through their heads.

of course the israelis will not be that magnanimous, mostly because they are blood thirsty hyper paranoid jews who's only job here on earth seems to be totally destroying people.

they were already killing palestinians before this attack. The israelis have snipers that kill kids armed with rocks. The only reason anyone thinks israel arent totally evil is because zionists own the press in the west.

Yeah, I think so. Terrorism is so fukking easy that I don't think you can combat it with the usual kneejerk response of "just kill them".

If you know who they are then sure. But by then the damage has been done so there is no hurry except to make a show for political purposes.

Honestly I think Putin's method of unfortunate balcony accidents is the best way to handle terrorists.

Dumbest take I’ve seen.

Using this logic, no one can do anything at all unless everything is 100% secure. What do young adults enjoying a festival have to do with securing the border? Also, tons of attacks have been prevented in the past and nothing will be 100% effective. Some may say they let the attack happen, maybe that’s accurate…maybe not. Either way they didn’t force the attack to happen.

Appreciate that keeping people in an open air prison is likely to militarise the population agaisnt you.

Develop a plan that allows Palestinians to have a two state solution. Once the Plaestinian state is formed provide them with initial support to set up their country.

Once the population has an ok standard of living and lives under normal conditions. The case for violence has been eroded and both populations can live in relative harmony.

The continual state of 'us versus them' solves nothing and only entrenches hatred and division. Peace in the Middle East is based on compromise and respect for others.

A Palestinian state......sure, and what would the borders be? And let me guess, you want Israel to pay for their initial support, and for Israel to pay for their ok standard of living.

And even without Israel, there won't be peace in the Middle East and you know it. The biggest killer of Muslims? Other Muslims.

Go back in time, make sure Rabin does not get assassinated (by a Jew) and do not take a hard right anti-peace aggressive attitude towards Palestine, so not elect Bibi. Also, while you're back there - Do not fund or help create Hamas.

What should be the Palestinian and Arab response be to 100 years of Zionism that keeps growing despite violations of UN mandates?

Yes, Israel can pay and others will also support. The financial cost of war is greater than the cost of peace.

It's in Israel's interests to do this. The military advantage they have is being eroded and their principal supporter (USA) is losing it's dominance.

It is in Israel's interest to make concessions while they are strong, versus being forced to when they're weak.

How is Israel supposed to do business with a group of people whose only goal in life is to exterminate them? They don't believe Jews have the right to exist in Israel. That's why there were monthly suicide bombings before restrictions were put on Gaza. The idea that Hamas is just going to play nice if Israel does is a joke.

Problem: A group demonstrated that they possess the ability and intent to pose a threat to your continued well being.

Solution: Eliminate the threat.

These people really need to open up a history book. When's the last time you heard about a suicide bombing in Israel?

I wonder how you can write this without seeing the glaring irony.

Israel is currently in the process of exterminating the Palestinians through collective punishment and blockading the Gaza strip. It appears their plan is to Annex the Gaza strip.

If we look at the weight of the actions against one another, we can clearly see Israel has been significantly more destructive to the Palestinians.

Regardless, I wrote the best solution for Israel, even though i couldn't care less about that countries well being. I genuinely believe that the solution I wrote is the best for Israel. Their current path is shortsighted and assumes they will maintain the strength disparity that existed. I don't even think it exists anymore.

Cut off water and power. Blockade Gaza from the sea and the border crossing with Egypt - nothing gets in or out. The only exception is that I would permit people to cross into Egypt, though they would not be allowed back under any circumstances. As targets make themselves known, strike them with precision air. Every few days, spin up as if I'm going to order the ground invasion, which is what they want - in preparation, they'll start burning up fuel, food, and water to prepare. Then, I'd stand down. Then I'd do it again. Then I'd stand down. I'd do this over and over and over again until no more rockets are falling on Israeli towns, and cell phone traffic within Gaza ceases completely. Once that happens, I'd enter, bulldoze every structure that exists, flood the tunnels with any oxygen displacing gas, and in compensation for the most horrendous terrorist attack in two decades, I'd divide the beachfront property among the families of those killed during the war.

Then I would focus on repairing and building the relationship with Israel's neighbors. First, provide Egypt with a one-time lump sum for their cooperation in freeing the Palestinians from their "open air prison." Second, I would offer trade agreements to all neighboring countries that favor the other party as a gesture of good will. Third, I would offer competitive bounties for information on anyone involved who has ever been affiliated with Hamas, and extra money if that person is delivered by the recipient dead or alive. In essence, I would make peace more profitable than terrorism for Israel's neighbors. Last, I would move the capital of Israel back to Tel Aviv, from Jerusalem, as a gesture of good faith.

Hamas is a jewish creation just like ISIS. It is used to provide motives for attacks. When no bad guy wants to attack you directly, it is easier to create, fund and manufacture one. Then the jew can play the victim and cry out in pain as he airstrikes you. It is the jewish way. Hitler was exactly that, a jewish creation that provided them with Israel.

Occam's razor rarely fails.

Palestinians elected Hamas who vowed to annihilate Israel. Israel has been capable of annihilating Palestine for decades, but hasn't. Before Israel put restrictions on Gaza they faced constant terror attacks. There is no peaceful solution as long as Hamas exists.

It seems like I care about Israel but I don't. I just think Hamas/Palestine are the bigger retards in this situation. If they truly want war, Israel should give it to them. If they truly want peace, Hamas has to go.

Did you miss Iran chitting their pants earlier btw?

Ok so what is your thought process on the Gazans living in something resembling an open air prison?

It seems odd to me that so many Americans act like this is a war between two countries. I'm assuming it's done in bad faith, pretending that the Gaza strip isn't a concentration camp.

Iran is not scared of Israel... They're just playing the game... Israel is looking weak right now.

Is open air prison the new Lefty meme?

Palestine has been offered solutions a million times and keep fukking it up. No one gives a **** about Gaza, they just want them to finally get their **** together

It's a horrible situation for those who just want to live. That's my whole point though. No one wants Gaza to be locked down but Israel is not going to risk constant terror attacks again. There needs to be some sort of formal truce for a period of time where Hamas can show they're not gonna go full "ALLAHU AKBAR" as soon as restrictions are lifted. That is basically impossible though seeing as it is an Islamic extremist group founded on the promise of annihilating Israel. Both sides are stuck.

What game is Iran playing? According to you, Iran would wipe the floor with Israel and the US is a paper tiger which poses no threat to Iran. They should strike now while Israel is weak.
