Recycling my laptops..do i need to do a factory reset if I plan on wiping the SSD?

Having an issue with one windows laptop as it wont allow me to do a full factory reset. I get the error message "Your PC has been reset but we couldnt remove all your personal files. If you plan to give away or recycle this PC, Try resetting it again"

If I remove the SSD do I still need to worry about this? Also, how to fix it?

If you want to fix it, I would just reinstall Windows. But if you're going to recycle it just take out the SSD and you should be good.

laptops make good target. Pistol calibers like 45ACP and up work best. Use hollow points. Ultimate Big Reset.
