John Carpenter originally wanted and tried to get actor

Peter Cushing to play the role of dr.loomis in Halloween before Donald Pleasence took the role.

It's hard to see another actor playing an iconic Role once you see it the first time but would you have preferred Cushing?

That chit still cracks me up. Half of every post you make on misc looks like it was written by a five year old, but I know how phones are, you should see my text messages.
