Desantis really fuked up running this election. He was hugely popular and pretty much slated to be the 2028 nominee. Deciding to run in 2024 made people question his decision making process despite him doing a pretty good job in Florida.

Then he pulls this manlet maneuver and guarantees he won't be elected. He'll be lucky to get second in the primaries.

Yes on domsetic policy he's excellent. Unfortunately he made it clear that on foreign policy he's a full on neocon, aside from being kind of a retard. This is a good example - he went hard on Trump's response to covid when, while he had one of the best covid responses and I am speaking as someone that lived in FL during that time, he never owned up to the fact that he DID lock Florida down for a while. I think most of us would be willing to forgive him for that if he owned up to it and apologized for it, but to just act like it never happened? Fuk off. Just another slimy politician in the end.
