Anyone else's job sucked balls since Covid?

My job was great prior to Covid. It had it's moments but for the most part it was great. Starting around the end of 2020 the place has just become grind central, staff are not as friendly to each other and it's a chit show working here. Didn't know if this was something happening in general with the way things are getting in the world now so thought I'd ask u all.

My business absolutely took off during COVID and put us in a position much earlier to not be reliant on banks which was great

As fair as the “job” goes, WFH was tough in the first part. Some of our colleagues were in Melbourne and locked down which was tough. Also it seemed like we were working around the clock and everyone was always green lit all hours of the morning and night. People didn’t cope well with having an office in their home. Spent too long in front of the screen.

So the difficult part was keeping the working from home aspect but drawing clear boundaries around what kinds of hours people are working because there was a real risk of burnout (myself included)

Once that was addressed, and the technology bugs were ironed out, remote working has been a huge improvement.
