What do men think about single moms?
I’m a African American single mom 27 years old, never married. I have a really tough time with the dating. My goal is to get in a long term relationship which hopefully turns into marriage one day but the second I tell men that I have one child they get turned off and ghost me or just use me for sex. I don’t have any trouble with causal hook ups but that’s not what I’m interested in anymore, I want something more. I finally found myself. After making some mistakes and going through the wrong men now I’m ready for something more. I worked on myself and I know what I want now. My child was conceived when I was 21 years old with my on and off again situationship with my baby daddy of 5 months, he’s not in the picture anymore
What do men actually think about single moms? Would you date a single mom? Is there things that you watch out for? Is it better if she was at least married first? In my personal experience men don’t respect me because I was never married and I just gave a baby to “just anyone” (this is what I’ve literally been told over and over again). Is there something else I could be doing to find a husband? I have talked to a lot of men but like I said attracting them isn’t a problem, the problem is they run away after I tell them I’m a mom. I also try my best to date single dads but even single dads don’t want anything to do with single moms

The normal mainstream dating apps more than cover the single moms thing on their own. There definitely doesn't need to be a special app just for that.

I dont know why you guys are so worked up over this. this should be a good thing for you guys, since it will take single moms off of hinge/bumble/tinder and onto that app. Plus there are guys who love single moms, and guys that are single dads looking for these women anyways.

Dating apps, I've heard of those. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it certainly seems like so many people dependent on them is bad for society as a whole. I wish I could say I was different, but I hit it and quit it with several single moms back in the day. There were a couple who I barely realized at the time I was pretending I was more interested than I actually was because they were hot or the sex was good, but they knew my dick was doing the talking. And then a few who didn't take the hint I wasn't interested.

Story time. I feel bad for a guy I unknowingly cucked. A single mom I had flirted with many months earlier was suddenly blowing up my texts begging me to meet up with (smash) her while she was out with some friends. It had to be that night, not some other time. Said she had broken up with the guy she'd been dating a few months, so I rekt her poon and she was more than enthusiastic, could barely walk straight afterward, so I was surprised when she ghosted me afterward. I found out she hadn't broken up with the guy and was engaged to him. A mutual friend went to their wedding not even six months later. She just wanted to get me in her before she took her vows. It suddenly made sense why her friends at the bar were acting strange when I met up with them all. They knew the score.

You are brain dead if you actually. believe this. Again, single moms don't see themselves as moms, they think they have the same market as single women. Women will refuse to limit themselves or reduce their standards. THis is why all women gyms were a failure.

I don't think it's a bad thing as far as dating apps go. As a niche I assume it should have a bit more success than other apps for single moms. But I disagree there are guys who "love" single moms. There are guys who have low self confidence that will go (settle?) for them, probably a few who are cool with starting a family without having to go through the drudgery of the baby and infant stages (I have one in diapers, one in training pullups now. They're cute AF but it's a grind compared to my oldest who has a lot of autonomy).

I'd bet women with 1-2 yr olds will by default have less success than women with a 5 yr old. It probably sucks for the former group of women looking for an actual relationship since they'll have to wait out a few years of being a cum dumpster before guys will give them consideration.

No. Women will go to where the men (aka matches) are. As far as single moms are concerned the men on a dating app for single moms/single parents, are not matches.
