Gymcels, do you realize the gym doesnt make you healthy?

You realize its not natural to lift heavyweight, strain your body and heart?

You think because you hit the gym your gonna stay young and healthy. Its the total opposite.

Less stress and a good diet is what keeps you young and healthy. Not the gym.

Show me athletes or runners that live longer then the avg person.

Have you seen washed up meatheads at the gym? They look like dog ****. Like they will collapse of a heart attack any second.

Dead srs.

Ur talking about roid heads

I lift to look good

Cardio is more important to health I guess

Also I don’t ego lift or lift heavy or do bb squat or deadlifts

So don’t have to worry about joints

If don’t lift or cardio wtf to even do
I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

Op is probably a subhuman in a deteriorating body and is just coping by projecting on everyone who goes to the gym when a very small % are actually doing it in an unhealthy manner.

Watched a program a few years ago regarding resistance training and senior citizens. They set up a gym in an old age home and the outcome was remarkable.
Everyone that got involved in the program showed major improvements, some didn’t require a cane or walker to get around after training for a while .
Now getting huge is another thing altogether. Your heart doesn’t know if you’ve got 300 pounds of muscle or fat .
But it is proven resistance training does increase not only muscle , but very importantly bone density.
I’m older and quit trying to ego lift . I mostly do reps in the mid to high teens , and no more PR’s,as they just lead to injuries.
Doing incline benching with dumbbells and reps in the teens gives me an incredible pump, just like the old days .
Would seriously miss working out if I was told I never could again .
I think if you stay away from muscle enhancing drugs for the most part you’ll be fine

I guarantee my blood panels are healthier than yours in pretty much every metric srs

I also am stronger, faster, more limber, explosive, and more aesthetic than u with perfect skin and a high sex drive

In every way I am pretty much healthier than u boyo

However my diet is immaculate, other gymcels may not eat quite as well

All of this. You lose muscle and bone density as you age, so continuing to lift as you age is actually really good for you.

Well, I quoted a guy who has a home gym. Obviously you don't need to go to a gym to lift weights. I do 2 of my 3 workouts per week at home.

its important to keep as much muscle mass as you can as you get older.

helps with the body withering away and if you fall you may not break your frail hip.

gym is life

k, but the gym has all that equipment already available for me. When gyms closed during covid nonsense, I was **** outta luck doing a lot of exercises with what I could gather at home. At least not in the same amount of weight.

not like you actually need a gym to do 30min-hour a week of something. gym has just become the thing for NPCs to say they do

but who was wolfs law?? You have no idea what you're talking about lmao

If you lift, and you're aesthetic, chances are the habits that got you there make you pretty fkn healthy (not counting roid users ofc). You retain more muscle, stronger bone density, and better hormone levels. Diet takes care of the rest (blood panel values). Add in cardio, and your heart/circulatory system will be A1 (and yes, gym helps with that too).

like a lot of things, going to the gym is what you make of it. If you go there and get your blood pumping and your body sore then that's not the same as whatever NPC/narcissistic thing you're thinking of. It doesn't make the gym bad.
