Generic Responses; AI?
I played around with chatGPT for a while and noticed that when I seeing how it would respond to economic issues, whenever it couldn't create a response that would "offend" socialists, commies etc, it would respond with "This is a complex and nuanced topic with a wide variety of perspectives blah blah blah..."
I got a few responses on YouTube recently that followed a similar response. I joined X a week ago, and I came across a few responses there that had this feel to it. What's more interesting, is that I wasn't the only person to notice. Someone replied asking if he was using AI to respond. This "journalist" was advocating for Palestine.
Anyone else noticing this trend? I think these are potentially a sign of the new age of bots and propaganda. It didn't take long. We need to learn to identify ai and take caution

One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

Definitely, even though large language models are an incredible gift (I used them to write my conference abstract for my Europe trip) they can very easily turbocharge disinformation. There are estimates that 99% of all misinformation on the internet could be AI generated:https://futurism.com/the-byte/ai-internet-generation.
It's the classical problem with something that can pass the Turing Test but isn't actually possessing a mind or intentions. It can generate content that sounds interesting and plausible but no idea that what it's generating is bunk. Plus it has no understanding of the normative nature of communication, either. If you ask a virtuous person to help you spread misinformation, they will object because it's wrong to tell a lie. But AI doesn't know it's helping someone whose deliberate intention is to mislead.
So it's really easy to generate BS at lightspeed.
