New GoW games are just a showcase Sony games - bunch of overpolished cutscenes and visuals to just brag about. Gameplay and artstyle are a bit of a snoozefest compared to the older stuff.
Overall they are Ubisoft games but less-buggy.

in the end you just choke the guy to death and get guilt tripped by your Head friend for doing so.

It ruins the uniqueness of the enemies and the feeling of reward that you beat their ass. If troll dude from GoW wasn't done 10 times, it would have been a way more memorable boss.
Also Valk's and Berserker's being optional despite being likely the best fights combat wise just ruins the narrative.
GoW is a visually great game but the narrative on what enemies to face and when was obviously an afterthought. You spend most of the time sprinting through the map and looting with the occasional Draugr common enemy with a few reskins.
Valk Queen should have been a main boss instead of Troll 1,2,3,4,5,6. Getting to her just becomes a drag - I believe you could agree on this one with me.
