What's going on here? (srs)
Ever since my girlfriend left early this year I've been feeling terrible. Symptoms:
- Constant aches and pains throughout my body. Lower back, shoulders, head, neck, thighs constantly sore.
- Constant clenching jaw
- Sleeping about 5 hours per night, with difficulty. Used to sleep 9+ hours no problem
- Constantly tired to the point I sometimes physically can't think any more. Sometimes can't process what people are saying to me, read a paragraph of text (used to read the entire paper each morning), sometimes struggle to put a sentence together. Went through a couple weeks where my only response to anyone talking to me was "yeah".
- Motor skills unaffected. Can still drive a car, land a plane in crosswinds, play video games, etc.
- Cardio unaffected
- Lifts dropped by 10-15% despite training at the same level as before.
- Constant paranoia for dumb things. Thinking people are talking behind my back, constantly worried about getting fired or "caught" for calling in sick when I was actually sick.
- Resting heart rate went from 60 bpm to 90+. Sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with HR 90+ BPM
- Massive mood swings. Went from the guy at work who could handle anything without emotion to screaming out 2 different bosses in 6 months, once in public.
- Social skills severely inhibited. Could only respond to conversations with "yeah" for a couple weeks. People will stand there talking to me and it's like I literally leave my body, can't describe it. Basically take manual control of my body and have to manually control my facial expression body language etc. Getting to the point where the subject of "other people who have autism" keeps coming up every time I'm around. Never had major problems like this before.
- Constant thirst, need to urinate every 2 hours or so.
- Getting sick more often.
Went to the doc and they diagnosed me with Vitamin D deficiency. Took their pills for 3 months now, maybe a small improvement.
My ex girlfriend came to visit me a couple weeks ago and when she was visiting all symptoms resolved with a day and remained gone while she was with me. When she left, symptoms slowly returned over 2 weeks. We were in a hotel not at my house.
Symptoms also subside when I take a vacation away from home.
Is this depression? Anxiety? Feels more like physical symptoms, almost like I'm being slowly poisoned. Should I check my house for carbon monoxide?
