Bodybuilding is not being a warrior. It is a vain pursuit to an extent. It's good to lift and be healthy, but you have a finite amount of time in the day. Anything you do has an opportunity cost. That is true about anything in life. That's why "everything in moderation" is sage advice. Best thing about lifting though is you don't actually need to do a whole lot to see progress early on. You just have to be consistent. Even just 1.5 hr a day 3 days a week will get you some decent results. Most of these guys spend more time gaming or browsing. You could browse between sets.
