TIL: Hitler did not start WW2

I've known for years, since taking a course on WW2 in college, that, contrary to popular belief, Hitler never had any intention of conquering Europe. In fact, he wanted to align with the UK and France. He especially hated the idea of going to war with the UK as he viewed Western Europeans as Aryans. But only today did I learn that he offered to pull almost completely out of Poland after it had been conquered, agreeing to only retain 4% of the territory Germany had always considered theirs if the UK and France didn't declare war on Germany.

So yeah, England and France started WW2. Not Germany. And not Hitler.

The whole ****ing thing could have been avoided and Europe would likely still be nearly 100% European today had France and England not declared war on Germany. I believe the two world wars, and that one one particular, destroyed the psyche of Europeans and White people generally.

They are Slavic. He thought of them only slightly above Africans and Indians. He didn't believe the Polish were even capable of running their own country, which is one of the reasons he invaded Poland.

Another complete myth was that he hated black people. This was never true. The only group you could accurately say he hated was Jews. He didn't have respect for Africans, but didn't hate them or wish to kill them. That s a total American mythology.

Why did they declare war, you mean? France definitely didn't push in Germany's chit, considering all of France was famously conquered in a matter of days. Germany basically walked in and took over the country.

considering what we've learned the past 5 years about how the government and media have 0 problem lying to you , hiding evidence to the contrary, and how they will rewrite history, etc. I'd entertain the possibility of almost anything.

It took like 5 countries just to take out the Axis and the allies had to commit some series war crimes to "win" lol.

I don't consider the Axis to have lost WW2 to the Allies. The Axis were way more skilled.

Imagine getting steamrolled by slavic untermensch to the point where people in Berlin started killing themselves before the Soviets entered because they knew the vengeance of the Russian people would be insane.

Most of the German effort approaching April and May was to hold back Soviets so the nice American troops would come in. Didn’t work.

The allied started WW2 in 1918 when they imposed requirements for Germany to pay back the damages caused by WW1. Hitler would have never seized power if the Germans hadn't been so desperate and miserable in the 1930's

Yes, but this is mostly common knowledge and something we are taught in school.

I don't think most people know Hitler was willing to relinquish Poland to avoid the war. That is a massive detail I was never taught.
