What was your longest work day?

For me it was like 26ish hours, showed up to work to get ready to fly, flew to some island to get gas, did some chit, flew back to the island to get gas, flew home and still had to stay at for for an hour or two...
I kinda miss it because it was easy af to cut, didn't care about food since I had more important chit going on

14hr. Coworker quit at a critical time of year, ended up doing 7am-9pm a few days straight. nowadays I’m chilling at 9hr days max, working at a far less intensity.

Worked 8 hours and was supposed to be finished for my shift set. I was day shift and got off the bus and went to the bar . Get a call 10 at night to see if i would take an emergency night shift . So worked from 12am to 8am , then back home at 9am .
Made for a long day .

Longest shift straight was 17 hours different job though

Were you drunk when you came back into work at least? If it was me, I'd tell them I've had a few drinks(6-9ish) and see if they'd still want me to show up

24 hrs.

Got on a plane on east coast ~6am. Flew to San Francisco. Did the work that needed to be done there. Finished up and returned to the airport that evening.

Red-eye flight back to the east coast, landing the next morning.

28 hours putting in a 12” gas line

Couldn’t leave it halfway through on the pullback from the drill or the hole could have collapsed. Not ideal

I think I worked one time till 11pm, went home and returned to work around 6am. The company had a big order to fill and during the day I'd do my office duties and then joined in working in the warehouse. Couldn't come close to doing that today.

Mine was like 25 hours but technically it was three back to back shifts without any time off between shifts.

24hrs srs. Was having a slow week and only had 58hrs for the 2 week pay period. Came into work one morning at 7am and worked all day but was killing it. Payroll ended and was closed out that next morning. Decided to do a good paying trans rebuild at 6pm. Had some rust and other issues so took longer and ended up still working when they came in. So I got paid 37hrs for the work I did. So I turned what was going to be a crappy pay period into a good pay period in one day. I can't remember how I got home.

IDK, to be honest. I was in the Navy, so it was way too long (whatever it was). Especially when you factor in it being sustained (similar chit hours with severe sleep deprivation) over a long period of time.
