If it did, you wouldn't have a weaponized DOJ and political prisoners.

It's a blessing in disguise for the Democrats. Sure, they'd rather you had nothing at all. But 2A allows them to slowly erode your other rights while pretending you are free because you own a glock and an AR-15.

Your level of freedom is positively correlated to the number of people you could kill if they came to take your family away. Sure, an AR-15 or handgun isn't ultimate freedom, but if the number of your bullets is greater than the number of people who are out to get you, seems free to me.

It’s quite the contrary. Your post assumes a lot. The first thing you don’t understand is that the 2A is treated as a second class right by the leftists. What I mean is, that it’s treated like it can be infringed upon and still be constitutional. High taxes on ammo and guns, registration, background checks, controlling what guns we can and can’t own, what attachments a firearm can have…but as long as they aren’t being outright confiscated, it’s within the government’s authority. The good news is, the Supreme Court has finally stepped in and said “Enough is enough”. The left overstepped too far and now the courts are intervening. We have actually gained back some 2A leverage and there is more to come.

The same thing is happening with freedom of speech. The left participated in massive censorship against political opposition and the congress gathered info on it and the SCOTUS began making rulings on it. For instance, the cartel between big tech and the Federal government on information and speech.

This is almost a counter revolution to the leftist/communist revolution and the courts have realized they were asleep at the wheel and are helping to reverse quite a bit.

How is your revolution coming along? Still headed sharply left without any sign of reversing course?
