Just got hired. Reps till I'm out

Had a final round interview on Wednesday and HR brah sent me an email today saying I've been chosen. The company is putting together an offer package (read: salary) for tomorrow, but I should have things in the bag.

I'm staying in SD with a more government focused job. I got impacted by layoffs on Oct 11th, my last day was the 18th, so all in all it's been about a 5 week turnaround to find something else.

Yeah, it seems pretty good. I targeted government type jobs, cause I think the private sector is going to head through a rough patch here soon, so I got was I was aiming for.

Yep, it's going to be a pay cut. I was making about $135k total comp earlier, and I'd be thrilled if this comes in at $120k.

The goal is to get a security clearance, and just have that be a US citizen job coupon.
