Any miscers ever enjoy ..

Karaoke when you would go out?
Years ago me and my friends would always enjoy having some.drinks and singing karaoke.. I'm the worst singer in the world but it's a good time if you don't take it serious.

I always wondered why no one ever tried starting a guitar karaoke. Where if you played the G you could play along with the song you sang.. I thought that would have caught on pretty well.

Especially when you consider most people after a few drinks think they are Steve Vai anyways. But as said it's all in good fun if you take it on the right light.

Think about how hard it is to get people to sing karaoke normally. Now reduce that number by the number that know anything about playing guitar.

Most people at karaoke just sing along to songs they know. Replacing backing tracks with an amateur guitarist sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Well bro there may be some truth to that but when you have a bunch of drunks that are just trying to have fun I don't think anyone is going to be worried about keeping time while they play along. I'm sure most would think they did a great job. But again it's about having a good Time not winning a contest.

It would just be a niche that would make one karaoke bar stick out from all the others considering no one does it

But someone some where probably has tried it I'd imagine
