People need to stop lying to manlets. it isn't helpful

I visited my parents for thanksgiving and before dropping me at the airport my dad gave me what he probably thought was some kind of pep talk. 'You have everything going for you, yada yada yada', he said a lot of true things but completely ignored the elephant of height.

I didnt say anything, cause he's my dad and I appreciated his effort, but its not helpful to ignore the situation and pretend it doesnt exist. yes, us short men can have everything else going for us but if we're too short to be attractive to the vast majority of women, it doesnt matter. thats the truth. I'm 32 and being short has negated everything positive about me to the point nobody is ever interested,

It actually ends up doing more damage than helping when people pretend the height issue doesnt exist. I've had friends do this as well. 'You're so amazing you can find someone' while ignoring that the only reason I cant find someone is height and that unfortunately isn't something you can change.

thanks man. Its really bad to be held back from something so important in life by something you cant change.

At this point being 32 I'm old enough to know this isnt going to get better and its getting harder to cope.

Why should/would a 32 yr old hopeless incel that doesnt need to be a wage slave, choose to be a wage slave anyway?

You're probably white and not bad looking.

White men can get away with being short a lot easier.

It is probably worth mentioning your feelings/reaction is both normal and okay. What you are experiencing right now is a natural response. Feel it, try not to be afraid of it.

I know this is easier said than done, you have to try to ignore the possible negative consequences, real or imagined.

I have no doubt I have lost opportunities due to my vertical deficiencies, but it isn’t super obvious. I imagine for you it may be?

You have things to offer the world. Like real meaningful value. Height is superficial in today’s society. No one is out there needing to establish physical dominance.

Develop and maintain positive personality traits, the ones you do have control over, and be the best person you can with what you have.

Nothing. Else. Matters. Literally.

Height hasnt affected anything else. I was great at sports, I'm Nigerian i was fast af and good enough to play D1 soccer.

Career was fine, i know the stats about tall people making more money etc but I got myself up to 6 figures.

general confidence was fine, I had no issues socially other than never being attractive.

With dating, I had zero experience(as in not one date, not one kiss, not one woman ever looking my way at all) until i was 25. At 25 I finally found someone off a dating app after 10000s of swipes. Went out for a few months.

then another 4 years of nothing until 10000s swipes later someone else from the apps.

So the apps were the only thing that worked, by work I mean once every 4 years or so. But the apps dont even work anymore because the company's changed their algorithms and want to force incels to pay.

So now its been 3 years of nothing again and its more hopeless than ever.

Which state do you live in? I have a lot of friends from western africa, mostly ghana and nigeria, I could hook you up with. My wife is 5'4, from South Africa, and is pretty much the tallest of all of our african female friends.

I agree with everything you're saying, except the very end. Lets not pretend this doesnt matter man.

Even I was the best person I could be, its kind of pointless if I'm still miserable and alone. The goal would be to actually enjoy life but as you said, most people arent going to be happy with the kind of hand I've been dealt regardless.

so its super demotivating. I've been NEET for over a year now cause I dont see the point of putting effort into this situation.

Honestly, i think for most manlets it's a bit harder, but it's not an insurmountable obstacle.

However, when i think of a manlet i think of 5'7, 5'8, 5'9. I can concede that in your situation, at 5'3, things become significantly harder; not impossible, but clearly you're playing a very rigged game, but i don't think the misc has generally lied to you about this, they've just tried to look at it in a positive light to encourage you. But of course, being 5'3 you're a severe outlier, being 5'3 puts you in the bottom 0.5% for height among males who are 25-34, so clearly this isn't just a normal case of being a manlet.

The thing is though, life is what it is, and being upset isn't going to help you dramatically, and i think this is the point the misc has always tried to labour, but you've interpreted it as something else. Simply put, you are as tall as you are, and you're going to have to find a way to cope with it. There are still women out there who will date men your height, but again i acknowledge it's a very tiny percentage, but what can you do apart from make yourself the best you can be (for yourself, not for women), and play the numbers game? Your choice is to do that, or rot, but what i don't understand is what the constant threads are about... i suppose they're a form of venting, but at this point is constantly going over the fact you struggle to date because of your height really helping your mental state in any way?

He sounds like he is respected among family and friends too... he's just not into fuking/dating his family and friends.

5'3 is brootal. You have my condolences.

Srs question: why don't you join a coed soccer lead and just go soccer-mogg a bunch of drunk 30 year old dudes?

Women want status more than anything, and status is a hyper-local thing. If you're the best player on your soccer team, single sloots will be mirin. And you can find sloots playing soccer.

By that same logic, if you don't like your income tax situation, how come you're whining instead of taking personal responsibility and just moving?
The problem with the misc is, when convenient for their argument, they pretend that societal level problems can be solved at the individual level. For example, they will tell someone 'bootstraps' while ignoring that a massive economic recession is the problem, and tell you its your fault you're unemployed.

But when it suits their argument, as you pointed out with the tax example, they will happily ignore all the things they can do as individuals and all of a sudden acknowledge the bigger context to the situation.

lol, I did this throughout my 20s after college. Mostly co-ed soccer leagues. Made a lot of friends, had good times but nothing remotely romantic ever came about.

Being this short negates everything man.

I dont play anymore because I saw like 5 of my friends start tearing their ACLs around 30 and I said fuk that.

I'm still active, I play pickleball instead though.
