Mind blown people are still catching covid

I'm having to fill in for a couple people who are out "sick" with COVID. I have to remind myself that people thought that was a legitimate ailment at one point, but wtf are we still doing playing serious with that **** now?

They can't predict who will get wrecked by it, and who will have mild cold symptoms, so they keep that chit away from all of us.

They also decided COVID was to be taken seriously and while the tissue paper face diaper didn't really do anything, we still needed to wear one

I don’t think it even matters if you have COVID or not, going in to work with any kind of cold/flu is now much more taboo than it was before 2019

Yeah it's real sad people can be so fuking unhealthy and decrepit they get grounded from a weak nothing virus that is even weaker now after everyone should have the antibodies for it. Someone should make a thread about it.

I got it this season and I was rekt for 3 full days. Worst flu I've ever had. I had the OG corona in 2020 and I'm not a jabcel. It can still knock people out and it's a dick move to go to work when sick

Okay? You think if you got this current, weak ass strain, that you'd be ****ed for two weeks?

I have no idea but I mean it makes sense to miss work over it. When I got it the GM and his wife were joking about having covid and being at work. Literally 3 days later the entire restaurant was fukked.

It’s the sensible thing to do, feels like the people pushing back on this are clearly very emotionally wrapped up in what happened with COVID

Jenna Ortega did the Wednesday show while she had the Rona, now, should they have shutdown production and wisted for her to get over it?

Keanu Reeves did the nightclub scene in the first John Wick movie with the flu, should they have shutdown production and waited for him to get over it?

How many musicians perform while sick?

Interesting how female secretaries come to work while sick, imagine if they didn't, how many bosses would be lost?

I dont know. Some people cant let it go. There are still the odd fool wearing masks while driving alone.

Yesterday some miscer said most of his workplace is off with covid. Find it hard to believe some workplaces still put up with that. Most of the world has moved on from this but I guess some places havent evolved yet.

There's a guy at my gym, who does full on sprints with an N95 mask tied tight to his face, you can see the mask inflate and deflate, and he always looks like he's about to pass out.

It's pathetic. Of course there's the usual Starbucks employees who still mask up.
